Mist Walk at Marina Bay - Singapore

I visited Maria Bay in Singapore back in 2011. Around the area lots of contractions were still happening. I was lucky enough to have a look around this beautiful site. While I was exploring the area, I came across this area where mist was spraying from above the ground along the walking path. I was very surprised and didn't know what was that for.
Basically they use the mist to reduce the ambient temperature through out the day. Weather in Singapore a bit humid, feels rather warm during most of the time. This mist in a brilliant idea though.
